Total Scarf Off! Cool ways to tie, knot & wear your scarf!

This week lovelies my current obsession lies with different ways to wear or tie a scarf. I'm not just talking about the chunky knitted variety, but the oh-so-chic chiffon silk variety too.

I had a major drooling session, whilst in Liberty's earlier last month and only recently learned that there is in fact an art to wearing scarves! I fell in love with so many beautiful scarves, from Aschön's feather print scarf, Christopher Kane's amazing inter galactic inspired print scarves to Ebony & Ivory's stunning leopard print scarves with a colourful twist. I just want to be draped in them big style.

There are so many different tying or knotting techniques, some basic and some highly intricate along with plenty of versatile ways of wearing a scarf besides around your neck! I love how one item can literally zsush up any outfit.

This weekend I wanted to share these amazing video tutorials (only around a minute or so long!) by Liberty with you. You're all going to fall in love with Lauranne's cute accent!

With some of these styles, you can try playing with different styles of scarves, one of my fave and quickest updates is using an pretty printed scarf and tying around a floppy hat or a printed square style folded up and tied around a trilby/fedora.

Below: The weave knot, this is quite similar to the one below, but the technique to achieving this look is completely different.

Below, the Pretzel knot as shown in the Youtube video but using a long Pashmina instead.
Below: I love this Lucy Jay abstract print scarf worn in the hair too!

Susie of Style Bubble just wears the most gorgeous scarves, her way! Love it!
