Fabulous Fridays

Well hey there loves, how was your week? Are you ready for the weekend? I have no idea where this past week or so went, except part of it was spent in bed and the rest playing catch up big time.
I wouldn't mind being teleported to Paris for a weekend break though. Just how gorgeous is that image (and the frock the model's wearing) above? No idea on who the photographer is or anything, but I love the mood of this shot.
The only thing that brightened up my week aside from the glorious weather we've been having was the delivery of my asos order! Yup, these puppies were extremely bargainous at £26 from £65! Now that's what I call a score ladies!

Oh Man, I love this site, it's the place where I can totally lose myself chuckling away... There are plenty of brilliant, funny & witty cards for every occasion and just about everyone. So, have any of you been to see the Hunger Games yet?

Hmmm, lemme think, I know which button I'd hit! Ha!

Wishing you guys a fabulous weekend!

Mullet Dress Madness: The Hi-Lo hemline

Giambattista Valli Fall 11 Haute Couture via Vogue.it

Mullet madness is more mainstream than ever and I'm not talking about the haircut. There are numerous retailers selling "hi-lo", "Mullet" hemline dresses and more & more designers (including Bridal) playing with this tail gown. I never did really get the "business in the front, party in the back"
remark, as surely the shorter front is all about the party? Oh well, someone please explain!
Not everyone approves of this trend either, only a few days ago, Hollywood stylist Lauren Messiah declares "Lose the mullet skirt – the one that’s shorter at the front and longer at the back. That was a very short-lived trend." via Marie Claire.

With wedding fever just around the corner, I've been keeping an eagle eye for something a little different, in a bold colour and a delicate, flowing fabric, however... I'm not sure this style is it. What do you think of the "mullet/hi-lo" hemline? Discuss!

Blake Lively has been snapped wearing this mullet style on more than occasion, via tumblr.

Mullet dresses: Most definitely more striking in a light-weight satin, silk or sheer chiffon. Some high street number's I found perfect for summer days!
I love how this girl - Annabelle Fleur styled her LOVE label dress - also available via Topshop and RARE. Style with a simple statement necklace, belt and fierce heels!

Anyhoos, I'm quite excited about the prospect of a few summer weddings, since the past 5 i've been to have been winter weddings. I'll probably get to wear my cobalt multi convertible dress at least on one occasion.

Soooo, it's Friday, I've been a little loca loca busy this week and i'll only have Sunday to rest a little... but least I'll be able to catch up with you guys.
I'm a little peeved that I've managed to catch a cold just as Fashion Week (Athens Exclusive Designers Week) is about to start tomorrow. Let's hope Lempsip works it's magic. What are your weekend plans? Whatever you do, have a fantastic time!

Totally Tickled Turquoise

Beautiful photo via Laura Lou

Hello Bloggerati! How was your weekend? I've been on a mission to find a digital online scrapbook that does the job of both personalizing a book filled with pages featuring unlimited text and high quality photos... Sadly Smilebox has great templates (for Bridal showers) but not enough pages or ways to edit the template for images/text. I love the idea of Blurb as I have previous books made and also mypublisher, but want to do my own printing and use their templates... any suggestions?

Yes, I know, I've been banging on about my love of colour like, all.the.time and just lately, mint has been everywhere - nails, beauty, fashion... My current obsession however, lies with turquoise & teal, next to my summer faves; fuschia and cobalt. What's your current colour obsession?

Loving a touch of turquoise eye make up, a sure fire way to brighten up a day look!

I didn't know about Elizabeth Cole Jewelley til Cocosa.com hit me with a stunning newsletter... How gorgeous is this three strand multi beaded necklace and seven strand bracelet? She's on the Runway this fall with Zac Posen, her bling is definitely worth checking out here.

Lastly, because it's Monday...
