Maddie over at Wardrobe Recycle's Instant Glamour post - this amazing bit of craftista is worth checking out, a chic kimono sleeve dress made in literally less than half an hour from one piece of leopard print fabric. The print on this dress is gorgeous too - Roberto Cavalli eat yer heart out.

Ok, for those who haven't quite busted a bikini body work-out yet, check out this bad-ass vlog (video blog post) and hot tips by the gorgeous Vahni at Grit & Glamour.

Copy Cat Cake: Chanel Ligne Cambon bag

I sometimes get commissioned to do fun & creative things... this is one of them!

I ended up finding some nice black ribbon to replace the flimsy, silvery thing for the birthday tag

I originally wanted to make the Chanel 2.55 bag, but being self taught, it was important to get a feel of cake decorating first. I found the Ligne Cambon bag on Polyvore and it looked a littler easier to make... (What was i thinking???)

When i got asked if i could make this, I was dead excited, i mean Cake - Yum!!! Chanel - Yummier!!! What's not to love right?
This is the 3rd time I've made this Chanel Cambon cake, and each time it looks better than the last. It was really difficult making this cake, especially in the heat... the gumpaste/fondant just kept getting soft & sticky!

It's also my first time painting with black - it is soooo messy and difficult! I had to be quick making the quilting effect too. Everything stuck to all the surfaces in the heat too... but alas I got there in the end. Wish they supplied ready-made black fondant here...

Another fun little cake I made today was one for the summer!

Look at these pretty little lovelies! Delish aren't they? River Island have teamed up with young designer, Sophia Grace to create this special collection of fancy footwear. Love the cute bows, leopard print mix & of course anything pink!
I think this young lady will be one to watch over the next few years, it's high time Cordwainer's brought out new talent!


Next up on the delish list is this sweet little creation for my friends birthday! Hope she likes it!


This is my first attempt in making a layered flower with lots of petals, not bad eh? I so need to get some silver edible dust on those edges, it'll look even more prettier then.

Holy Banana's! I recently discovered Amy Atlas Events via Made By Girl (daily read), and put it this way i spent forever salivating over the serious goodness & eye candy on her website and blog. This lady is super talented and creative, check out the above dessert table setting she did for Brides Magazine amongst other table settings. I don't usually have a thing for table settings, just cake & candy love really, but the turquoise and pretty pink really got to me. Love it!
