On another totally unrelated yet related topic of discussion is a fantastic post I read over atBeautifully Invisible on 'The Plus size and straight size debate'. One of the comments that spoke to me very much was left by Fashion Butter on how we should be more supportive of each other, rather than judging, criticizing, labeling others.... In the comments section to the Jennifer Aniston article in the Daily Mail, I was horrified by the bitter, negative and just plain horrid comments left by readers. It's OK to have an opinion or constructive criticism, but I'm just someone who doesn't feel negative/bitter opinions being aired. It's like sending bad karma/energy out there, slagging someone off just ain't cool. What kind of message is this to others? I've also seen this on a few blogs too... what's the point? Soz, i just had to get that off my chest, if you'll excuse my outburst...!

I'm about to begin my rant but i now have to run to another bank and go pick up some stuff from the post office only it's already taken me the best part of an hour and a half queuing (with ticket - as you would at the Charcuterie counter at a supermarket circa 1980 something) at a bank waiting to be served. How people pay bills whilst getting their real jobs (if it were a 9-6) done is beyond me.
I probably would have signed up paying for stuff by Direct Debit (DD), but somehow i just don't really trust the fact that if i were ever to phone up and cancel DD it would ever get done thus money continue to be taken out...
It took me well over 2 months get phone/internet when i first moved here... anyways, so i'm not holding my breath.
If i ever make it back i shall share some summer skirty goodness!
If you're on holiday somewhere in Greece or the Greek Isles this summer, chances are you'll be mauled by mossies.
Get to a pharmacy - avoid all the expensive stuff they've laid out in-store and ask for Fenistil Gel from behind the counter. It comes in a tube in an orange box and costs around 3 euros max. This gel acts as an anti-histamine and helps with the healing process. Also managed to find that you don't get too itchy and scratchy too which is a bonus.
