BE BOLD OR GO HOME PAY DAY TREATS!

Miroslava Duma rocking an Ostwald Helgason dress with a cute geo print shirt peeking out from underneath. Image via here

Well hey there beloved readers, over the past couple of months I've been slowly nesting and gathering bits and pieces for the little bubba, but you know what? I've bought absolutely nada for moi and well, that's just not on!

Anyhoos, I'm mega excited since it's payday week! Whoopee! Capturing my imagination and my heart right now are bold geometric prints, well, anything wildly colourful and likely to brighten up my current ongoing all black - ninja style wardrobe.
I'm still bowled over by amazing printed creations by the likes of Peter Pilotto, Jil Sander, Marni, Matthew Williamson and digital prints by Felder Felder.
I am seriously loving this zig-zag shirt dress from Tommy Hilfiger (SS13) £325, street-style inspiration from Tommy Ton (via style.com) at Fashion Week and also printed headscarves (image via here), the bolder the better I say and it doesn't matter if the prints clash!

This is old, but still fabulous - Kenzo SS10 via here.

Stunning geo print wallpaper and a lovely spot of table styling via pinterest. The lamp is just gorgeous, no?

1. All over check print T-shirt by asos now £17.50. 2. Graphic print sheath dress £44.99 by GAP.
3. Geo print cigarette print pants by Forever 21 $17.80 4. Lomography Cubic La Sardina camera at £99 Giftlab.com.

Of late, the image reflects exactly how I've been feeling once I walk through the door of my home... Totally cream-crackered. The 3-hour long return journey on public transport is rather treacherous especially with pelvic pain added to the equation... I honestly don't know how other women manage it! Anyhow, all is well but I'm afraid you'll have to excuse me on the blogging front, I might not be here as often as I'd like but I most certainly still take pleasure coming over to visit you guys.
It's my form of escapism... from reading baby/parenting info to freak-me-out stuff like on one of my pregnancy apps. I read that I can probably feel my little one inside scratching with their fingers inside the uterus, how CREEPY?!! So anyhoos, thank you for hanging around!

Oh, your daily journeys sound waaaaaaayyyy too long. Hope they are worth it. Must admit, with my deep love for prints I've only managed skirts, nothing head to toe or printed trousers (love them). I've tried DVF dresses before and felt totally out of my comfort zone. They just took over... :D

Awesome print picks! I'm a total print lover so this post is right up my alley. That lamp is stunning! Thanks for dropping by! Missed you! I'm well enough - just waiting for winter to go away. Your 3 hour commute sounds dreadful! It's no wonder it leaves you knackered. I just hope you're seated for the duration. Anyway, taking care of yourself and little bao is the most important thing now so make sure you rest well. We'll still be here for you :)

I wish Stylist has made it Stateside but at least we can view it online.

Take care!

These are so wonderful...I love them!! I will take them all!! Poor lamb, get yourself some rest, I know it's hard when you can't take anything. I had the flu when I was about to give birth to my first and I was about to fall over. I was breathing in eucalyptus and all. Then the nurse tried to take it away from me, but I was having none of it, haha. I send you a BIG hug and lots of love, hope you get rested doll!! xoxoxo

Love your graphic picks Sandee. I don't know you do all the rushing around from one end of London to another with "little man" on board. But I sure do appreciate you doing it for our lunch on Friday ;-) xx

Ooooh yes, am loving these picks!! Those cigarette pants and the bold graphic wallpaper can make their way into my home quick smart.

Are you back in London now?? That sounds like a London commute. And hope all the reading's not too freaky...

Wait... are you trying to tell me you have a 3 hour commute? That is INSANE! I think I must have read that wrong. Hopefully you'll be feeling less tired once you get further into the 2nd trimester. (At least, I hear that's what happens.) In any case, nothing like some bright new clothes to pep you up!

Congrats! We both have a baby a brewin- bloggers + babies X 2;) I hadn't thought of finger nails scratching my insides but now, I can't get it out of my head!! Hope you are feeling well (first trimester?).
